Hunger is a powerful thing and after living in Kentucky for 12 years Norman Solomon couldn't take it anymore, he had to have a good hot dog. Tired of making the 6 hour drive for hot dogs and gyros one night Norm turned to his wife Becky and said "what do you think about opening a hot dog stand?" Becky thought he was crazy but agreed to do it anyway. They opened Norm's Chicago Style Hot Dogs on May 5th of 2006.

Norm's is a completely authentic Chicago Hot Dog stand. Not only does the poppy seed bread and the Vienna® Beef franks and sausages come from Chicago even the meat for the gyros is from Greek town. A trip to Norm's is meant to be an experience, customers can stand and talk at the side counters or sit at the large table while enjoying a good meal and conversation. You are even welcome to sign the walls and to let Norm and Becky know what a good time you had.
